Run With It, LLC was created out of my authorship. The first being the Idlewild & Woodland Park, MI project. Our mother and I drove up north to our property and then to Woodland Park, MI. There is where I'd hear Mr. Tyson talk about the good ole days. On our trip back home is where the idea was birth. Looking straight ahead in our car I said, "Mama, someone need to write a book where young people would read about Woodland Park and Idlewild and not just read it, but want to read." Pushing forward the book Idlewild & Woodland Park, MI (an African American Remembers) and the documentary was birth. Guess what? the children and adults read it. The documentary has since won five independent film awards. Speaking engagements, Artprize and other events came my way. Now there are four other creative books under the Run With It label with another in progress. All based on a young girls life journey. Thus, the name Run With It.
