Empowering individuals to reach their financials goals is my focus.
Educating people to feel confident in their financial decisions is my process.
Encouraging others to develop a healthy relationship with their money is my passion.
Each of us has a unique perspective that influences our sense of what it means to be financially responsible. As a young girl growing up in Grand Rapids, MI, in a single parent family, how we spent every dollar mattered. My mother would often send me to the store to buy groceries for our family of five, and it was up to me to find new ways to save and stretch our limited budget on every trip. That careful deliberation ignited my passion for managing money wisely and responsibly.
Early life lessons in choices and sacrifice helped prepare me for the challenge of raising a child with sickle cell disease who champions life every day. Life is fragile, and I recognize the importance and the value of leaving a legacy for family. The preparation and planning for future generations are what drew me to the financial services industry.
Throughout my education and career, I have come to value relationships and helping individuals reach their goals. I hold a bachelor’s degree in business management from Davenport University, and a master’s in human resource management from Keller Graduate School of Management.
When not in the office, my family and I enjoy volunteering in our local community and advocating for sickle cell awareness. My husband and I enjoy spending time on the golf course with our son and watching our daughter dance
