Mayor Henyard’s signature priorities include the Block by Block program, an initiative designed to Dolton residents into homeowners by allowing them to purchase the vacant homes in the community for only $5000. She also gave residents 1000’s dollars in gasoline to help them get back to work after the COVID-19 lockdown. Mayor Henyard forged partnerships with local businesses to bring significant discounts to residents during the holiday shopping season.
As the chief executive of the large village, Mayor Henyard brings a performance-driven approach to the job, creating a more responsive, streamlined, and efficient delivery of village services while shoring up Dolton’s financial future.
